Kawai Lime Industry Co., Ltd.'s "Serashure" is a bauxite suitable for filler applications that has been artificially synthesized using a hydrothermal synthesis method. It is controlled to have particle shapes such as cubic, plate-like, flaky, and needle-like, as well as fine particle sizes, making it suitable as a filler for imparting functionality to plastics and rubber. 【Features】 ■ Micro-filler controlled to a single micron fine particle size ■ Shape-anisotropic filler controlled to particle shapes such as cubic, plate-like, flaky, and needle-like ■ Almost insoluble in acids and alkalis, with high chemical stability ■ Undergoes an endothermic dehydration reaction at 400-550°C, demonstrating flame retardant effects ■ Compared to alumina, it has a lower Mohs hardness (3.5-4.0) and lower specific gravity (3.0 g/cm3) ■ High dispersibility and orientation in resins, capable of imparting functions such as flame retardancy, heat resistance, reinforcement, dimensional stability, and gas barrier properties * There are also "High Thermal Conductivity Bauxite" which enhances thermal conductivity, and "Ultra-fine High Crystalline Bauxite" controlled to submicron particle sizes.
